First of all, in Andhra Pradesh or Telangana, to obtain a marriage certificate, you need to book a slot. Only after booking a slot will you get the opportunity to apply for the marriage certificate. To book a slot, you need to visit the Marriage Registration Office. Previously in Andhra Pradesh, people had to go to the Secretariat, but now there’s no need to go to the Secretariat—you can directly go to the Registration Office.

At the Registration Office, you will find a document writer. This person will help you book the slot. For slot booking, you need to provide all the required documents on the same day. You don’t need to submit documents again on the day of registration; all main documents must be submitted at the time of slot booking. This is very important, so listen carefully.

Aadhaar Cards:
