An Overview of the scheme Gujrath Manav Kalyan Yojana

It covers 28 specific occupations, for example, beauty parlors, vehicle servicing, sanitary work, pickle making, embroidery, papad making, plumbing, electrical appliance repairing and puncture repair. Managing the scheme is the responsibility of the Commissioner of Cottage and Rural Industries Gujarat, who created it in support of artisans, laborers and small vendors who hail from backward castes and low-income groups.
