What is UP Kaushal Satrang Yojana ?
This scheme has been started by the Uttar Pradesh government. Through this scheme, the government will first provide skill training to the educated unemployed youth within the state and when their training is completed, the government has started many types of employment schemes for them, with the help of which they will be given employment and it will help in ending the problem of unemployment within the state.
Through this scheme, more than 2 lakh unemployed youth living in Uttar Pradesh will be prepared for employment by providing skill training and on completion of the training, they will be given employment under 7 schemes created by the government.
To successfully implement this scheme in the state and to benefit maximum unemployed youth, the Uttar Pradesh government has set a budget of Rs 1200 crore for this scheme and skill development centers will be set up in every district where they will be trained. Mega job fairs will also be organized in the districts by the Uttar Pradesh government.

The main objective of starting this scheme is to prepare the educated unemployed youth of the state for employment by giving them skill training to get employment and to provide them employment through the schemes made by the government.

7 schemes under UP Kaushal Satrang Yojana

- CM Yuva Hub Scheme : – Through this scheme, youth will be provided skill training to establish self-employment and 30 thousand startups will be started through which each beneficiary youth will be given employment according to his skill qualification, for this the government will spend 1200 crore rupees.
- Chief Minister Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme : – Through this scheme, unemployed youth will be given skill training and financial assistance of ₹ 2500 will also be provided, out of which ₹ 1500 will be given by the central government and ₹ 1000 will be given by the state government.
- District Skill Development Scheme : – Through this scheme, a list of unemployed youth in the state will be prepared and their job registration will be done through a committee constituted under the chairmanship of DM in the districts.
- Skill Fortnight Scheme at Tehsil Level : – Under this scheme, unemployed youth will be informed about the schemes being run by the government through LED vans in the districts.
- AMOU with three placement agencies :- Under this scheme, youth will be trained in a better way to get employment so that they can stand on their own feet and become self-reliant.
- Providing employment after training : Under this scheme, an AMOU has been signed with IIT Kanpur, IIM Lucknow in which training will be provided to cow herders through Basic Education Department, Health Department and Animal Husbandry Department and admission and skill training will also be provided to out of school children.
- Recognition of Prior Learning :- Through this scheme, certificates will be provided to artisans related to traditional industries.
