Hello friends, as you all know, the Government of India keeps on starting new schemes one after the other. Similarly, the Krishi Sakhi Yojana   has been started by the government. Under this scheme, 70,000 women living in rural areas will be trained and their skills will be developed and they will be given 60-80 thousand rupees per year. 

Under this scheme, women will be given 56 days of training in which they will be given complete training from land preparation to harvesting of crops. Along with this, they will be told about organizing farmer field schools, establishment and management of seed banks, soil health, integrated farming system, basics of livestock management, preparation of air inputs, establishment of input shops for use and basic communication skills.

What is the Krishi Sakhi scheme? |  What is the Krishi Sakhi scheme?

A new scheme has been started by the Modi government, named Krishi Sakhi Yojana. Under this scheme, 90,000 women are being made agricultural para extension assistants, under which women will help farmers to improve their livelihood. Women selected in Krishi Sakhi Yojana will work closely with the women of Lakhpati Didi Yojana. 

Under this scheme, the first certificate has been given to 34000 Krishi Sakhis out of 70000 women. So far, Krishi Sakhi Yojana has been implemented in Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Odisha, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Meghalaya. Krishi Sakhis have to visit the farm once a month and monitor the agricultural activities and explain the challenges of the farmer and help the farmer. Along with this, Krishi Sakhis are provided an amount of Rs. 4500 per month.
