Scheme’s Anniversary and Past Disbursements
The Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana celebrated its first anniversary. After facing setbacks in the Lok Sabha elections, the Mahayuti coalition introduced this scheme before the state assembly elections. The first Government Resolution (GR) for the scheme was issued on June 29, 2024, and by June 29, 2025, the scheme completed one year. So far, 11 installments have been credited to the beneficiaries’ accounts.
Installment Details and Beneficiary Information
Through the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, beneficiaries have received funds for 11 months. Each month, ₹1500 is credited to the beneficiaries’ accounts. The May installment was credited around June 7, 2025. Now, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Dada Pawar has announced when the June 2025 installment will be credited. From July 2024 to May 2025, beneficiaries have received 11 installments totaling ₹16,500. Women who have been part of the scheme since its inception would have received this amount. Please comment below if you’ve received ₹16,500.
Special Provisions for Certain Beneficiaries
Some women receive only ₹500 under the Ladki Bahin Yojana. Beneficiaries who also receive funds from the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and Namo Shetkari Samman Nidhi schemes are entitled to ₹500 per month under this scheme, as per the GR. The government’s policy ensures that a beneficiary receives a total of ₹18,000 annually through DBT. For women receiving benefits from both PM Kisan (₹6000 annually) and Namo Shetkari (₹6000 annually), the remaining ₹6000 is provided through the Ladki Bahin Yojana at ₹500 per month. Approximately 7 to 8 lakh women benefit from both schemes.
Clarification on Other Schemes
The PM Kisan scheme is run by the central government, while the Namo Shetkari Samman Nidhi is a state government initiative. Together, these schemes provide ₹12,000 annually (₹6000 from each). The remaining ₹6000 is supplemented by the Ladki Bahin Yojana at ₹500 per month to ensure a total of ₹18,000 annually. However, women benefiting from other schemes like the Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojana receive ₹1500 under those schemes and are not eligible for the Ladki Bahin Yojana funds.
